My Veterans Day Salute

By Micheal A. Mulloy

When any of my friends or relatives ask me about my job as an attorney, I nearly always say, “It’s going well, but I am too busy.” Being photo-micheal-a-mulloy-attorney-at-lawbusy is not unique to our profession and it has become the norm in our society – we are always wanting more, and wanting it faster. On this Veterans Day, however, it is a great time to slow down and remember the men and women who have served our country and have allowed all of us to live the lives we have become so accustomed to. The sacrifice of members of our armed forces does not go unnoticed. As a small token of appreciation, Stebbins Mulloy has purchased gift cards for veterans who have made such a great sacrifice. This year, I would like to show my appreciation to Waylon Tomac who has stepped up for his family when he did not have to and who was recently promoted to major with the North Dakota Army National Guard.

Happy Veterans Day –

My Veterens Day Salute

By Jackie M. Stebbins

Last year on Veterans Day, as I was scrolling through Facebook looking at all the pictures and reading the nice stories and thoughts photo-jackie-m-stebbins-attorney-at-lawpeople posted about Veterans in their family, one person’s story really caught my eye and hit me in the heart. I have known Jeremy Petron and his wife and family for only a few years now. When I first met him, I found out he had been in the National Guard and was deployed in the Iraq war. I really didn’t know much more than that about Jeremy’s story. The tribute to a Veteran that caught my eye last year, was Jeremy’s wife, Angela, sharing her story of what it was like to live through Jeremy’s deployment. Angela’s story of tears over a year and a half and prayers that Jeremy would make it home safe and sound and the pictures of Jeremy in his uniform and coming home, really hit me as to what it would feel like to have your loved one; parent, child, spouse, or partner, leave home to go to a foreign place in a time of war. Jeremy’s story, like the story of so many others, is one of selflessness and courage. I didn’t know Jeremy when he deployed, but I know him now and I see the same selfless traits in his civic leadership with his involvement in the Boy Scouts and the PTA. For his sacrifice and courage, for his commitment to his country both as a soldier and a civic leader, I salute him today, this Veterans Day. Stebbins Mulloy says thank you Jeremy and thank you all Veterans present and past, who have proudly served our great country. We cannot say thank you enough for all that you have done and all that you do. In a small gesture of thanks to you Jeremy, we purchased a gift card for you and Angela to have dinner at the Toasted Frog, on us. Happy Veterans Day!
